Every traveler is faced with one crucial question: what clothes should I bring? To avoid bringing too much or- even worse- bringing too much of the wrong thing, it's always good to have a grasp on the type of weather awaiting you at your destination. Let's face it, there's nothing worse than facing a day of tourism under a blazing sun in a sweater or braving a snow storm in short sleeves!
Granada, in true Andalucían fashion, is hot and dry during the summer, although nights tend to be refreshing and cool- you may even want to have a jacket on hand. During the winter months, days are typically sunny but cool- if the wind is coming off the Sierra Nevada mountains, however, it can feel very near frigid. Rain, while more common during the winter months, hardly ever lasts for more than a day or two. While you may see some occasional snowflakes, you can find the real snow in the neighboring Sierra Nevada mountains.
